May Workshop Announcement - Rainbow Needle Punch with fibird!

Winnipeg has such a wide variety of textile artists and I’m so excited that Brittney Casavant from fibird is coming to teach a very special community workshop on May 13! Brittney has been teaching sold out workshops since 2022 and loves to showcase the easy to learn punch needle technique in different art pieces. She will be bringing 100% wool yarns in various colours to work with and you get to choose exactly how you would like yours to be. Rainbows abound in mythology and meaning, from a child after loss to the Pride rainbow, you decide what it means to you.

After creating your punch needle rainbow, you can display it in any number of ways! Frame it, hoop it, glue and back it, or sew it into something!

The rainbow workshop is on May 13 from 10-12. It’s Mother’s Day weekend and could be a nice gift/outing together if that’s how you do!
